Video conferences and meetings
At OVGU you can use two online conference systems:
- Zoom - a commercial solution. A campus license for Zoom is available for university members.
- BigBlueButton (BBB) - is an OpenSource video conferencing platform based on Linux.
With your OVGU account you also have a mailbox. You can use this mailbox to communicate with fellow students and lecturers. You can find the e-mail instructions on the university computer center page.
Moodle
Our central e-learning system Moodle (elearning.ovgu.de) . Many lecture materials, exercises and learning activities are provided in Moodle courses. Moodle also offers the function of sending messages to each other.
GitLab
GitLab is a web application for version management of software projects based on git. OVGU's central GitLab server can be accessed at code.ovgu.de. More information can be found on the GitLab page of the university computer center.

LSF-Portal
LSF (lsf.ovgu.de) is a web application for teaching, studies and research and provides information about the university, in particular about courses, degree programmes, the structure, the organizational units and university members. You can find more information in the LSF-Wiki.
Mediasite
Mediasite is a platform on which teaching content can be made available as video-on-demand.

Course Reserve Books (Semesterapparate)
Course Reserve Books contain the literature recommended by lecturers for their courses, which are provided by the University Library in printed or digital form for the duration of a semester. You can find more information on the UB website.
